PillPal is a medication reminder program designed by a physician to assist patients in adhering to their medication schedules. It offers features such as organizing medication lists, providing local notifications with sound and text alerts for timely doses, and a user-friendly drug instruction setup based on pharmacy labels. With over 11,000 commonly prescribed medication names available, users can easily search without the need for internet connectivity. The app does not collect user information, display ads, or include in-app purchases.
PillPal also allows for manual entry of drug names in languages other than English, medication search by scanning the drug name for iOS 15 and higher users, and scheduling alerts based on standard medical management. Users can conveniently mute non-critical medication alerts, manage medication lists, and receive notifications for the entire week. It does not interact with the Calendar app, ensuring a focused medication management experience.
